Fatal Aiken County shooting death of 10-year-old Miyah Harp – Obituary
A 10-year-old girl, Miyah Harp, tragically lost her life late Monday night after being shot in the chest at a residence on Wendy Lane in Windsor, South Carolina. Authorities responded to the scene at 10:33 p.m. when deputies from the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office arrived and began to provide assistance. Harp was rushed to the scene by first responders, but despite their efforts, she was pronounced dead at 11:13 p.m.
The coroner, Darryl Ables, confirmed the tragic passing and stated that an autopsy would be performed in Newberry. Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the shooting are ongoing.
