Taylor Michael Santa Cruz dies in fatal Seabeck Highway motorcycle crash

Fatal Seabeck Highway motorcycle crash death of Taylor Michael Santa Cruz – Obituary

Taylor Michael Santa Cruz, 21, tragically lost his life last week in a high-speed motorcycle crash on Seabeck Highway Northwest, as confirmed by the Kitsap County Coroner’s Office.

According to traffic investigators, Cruz was traveling northbound on Seabeck Highway at excessive speeds, passing multiple vehicles on Kitsap Way and Northlake Way. Witnesses reported that the motorcyclist narrowly avoided collisions with other vehicles before ultimately striking a guardrail.

Despite wearing a helmet, Cruz sustained a severe head injury in the collision. Emergency responders from the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office and Central Kitsap Fire and Rescue attempted life-saving measures, but Cruz was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities have suggested that alcohol consumption may have been a contributing factor in the crash. An autopsy was scheduled by the county coroner to confirm further details.

The accident caused a closure of the roadway for approximately two hours before it reopened shortly after 11 p.m. Investigators continue to review the circumstances surrounding the incident.
