Fatal Jackson County hit-and-run death of Brent William Walker – Obituary
Brent William Walker, 27, tragically passed away on November 23, 2024, after being found on the side of the road in Summit Township, Jackson County, Michigan.
Emergency crews responded to a report of an unresponsive man on South Street near Helena Avenue, where they determined Walker had suffered injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle that fled the scene. Despite efforts to revive him, he was declared dead. Police have not made any arrests, and the investigation continues.
Walker is survived by his father, siblings, and his 4-year-old son, Lucas. The family has set up a GoFundMe page to help cover funeral costs.
