Fatal Lynnwood shed fire death of Lukas Goodman – Obituary

Lukas Goodman, 24, has been identified as the victim of a shed fire that occurred near Lynnwood on December 2. Firefighters responded to the 20500 block of Larch Way shortly after 8 a.m. and found the fire confined to a shed being used as a residence next to a home. A resident attempted to extinguish the flames with a garden hose but was unsuccessful.

 

Fire crews quickly contained the fire and prevented it from spreading to the nearby home, extinguishing it within five minutes. Inside the shed, they discovered Goodman, who had succumbed to the incident.

 

The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Snohomish County Fire Marshal’s Office, with no indications of suspicious activity, according to local authorities. The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office has not yet determined the exact cause and manner of Goodman’s death.
