Fatal Warren County rollover crash death of Miguel Sajbin and Thomasa Joselyn LuxPu – Obituary
Miguel Sajbin, 39, and Thomasa Joselyn LuxPu, 23, were tragically killed in a single-vehicle accident on Highway 27 in Warren County during the early hours of June 25, 2024.
The accident occurred shortly before 3 a.m. when an SUV with out-of-state plates veered off the roadway, rolled over, and collided with a tree. The force of the crash trapped all three occupants inside the vehicle. Emergency responders faced significant challenges due to the severity of the wreckage.
One individual, identified as the 17-year-old driver, was extracted from the SUV and transported by ambulance to a local hospital before being airlifted to UMMC in Jackson. Their current condition remains unknown.
Sajbin and LuxPu, both passengers in the vehicle, were pronounced dead at the scene. The coroner arrived shortly after the crash to confirm the fatalities. Authorities temporarily closed the highway to facilitate rescue and recovery efforts.
