Fatal Cleveland car crash death of Caurie Williams – Obituary

Nineteen-year-old Caurie Williams has been confirmed as the fourth victim in a deadly car accident that took place early Wednesday morning in Cleveland. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office released the information on Thursday.

The other victims were previously identified as 14-year-old Kalise McGee, 14-year-old Tamera Davis, and 18-year-old Eddy Deandre Bonner, all from Cleveland.

Witnesses reported that the vehicle was traveling at high speed along West 106th Street around 12:30 a.m. before veering off the road. Investigators determined that the car was going at an extremely high rate of speed when it crashed into two trees.

The force of the collision was so severe that the vehicle broke apart. Three of the teens were thrown from the car, while the driver remained inside. All four were pronounced dead at the scene.

Cleveland Police Chief Dorothy Todd called the incident a heartbreaking loss, emphasizing the devastating impact of losing four young lives in such a tragic way.

Authorities revealed that the teens had been driving a stolen Hyundai Sonata, which had been reported missing from a residence on Wichita Drive on February 27. Investigators are hoping to recover data from the car’s black box, if it remains intact, to gather more details about the crash, including speed and braking patterns.
