A fatal crash early Tuesday morning on Route 40 outside Uniontown claimed the life of 23-year-old Madison Porfilio.
The single-vehicle incident occurred near the Kwik Fill gas station in Menallen Township around 1:30 a.m. State police report that the car struck a pole, causing significant damage.
Porfilio was pronounced dead at the scene, while another individual was injured and transported to the hospital.
The condition of the injured person remains unknown, and the crash is under investigation by state troopers from the Uniontown barracks.
