Fatal Wexford County crash death of William Troy Bolin – Obituary
William Troy Bolin, 56, of Mancelona, lost his life Tuesday morning in a collision on US 131 at E. Countyline Road, authorities reported.
According to investigators, a semi-tractor trailer traveling northbound crossed the centerline and crashed into a southbound pickup truck hauling a trailer. Bolin, who was in the pickup, died from injuries sustained in the crash.
The crash led to an eight-hour closure of US 131 before the road was reopened around 5:30 p.m. Officials have not yet released the name of the semi-truck driver.
The incident remains under investigation.
