Fatal Colbert County car crash death of Majala M. West
A young woman, identified as Majala M. West, who was 21 years old, has died as a result of a vehicle accident that occurred on a Sunday early morning in Colbert County. According to information released by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Ms. West suffered critical injuries when the vehicle she was a passenger in departed the road. The specific route involved was Alabama 184, near the vicinity of Muscle Shoals.
The 2025 Ford Bronco, which was carrying West, reportedly went off the road, struck a culvert structure, and subsequently collided with a guide wire before flipping over. A spokesperson for the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency mentioned that West was not reported to be wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision. Because of this, she was thrown from the vehicle during the overturn. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and pronounced the woman deceased.
The driver of the Bronco, another individual within the vehicle, was also involved in the incident and suffered injuries. This person was transported to Helen Keller Hospital in Sheffield for necessary medical attention. The crash happened approximately at 2:30 a.m. on the designated Sunday morning, about three miles east of Muscle Shoals within Colbert County.
