A woman who tragically lost her life after being hit by a pickup truck while attempting to cross a street in Northwest San Antonio has been named. The victim, 67-year-old Mariah Martinez, succumbed to the injuries she sustained from the incident.
The truck driver, a 57-year-old man, immediately exited his vehicle to assist Martinez. However, during this time, he was struck by another vehicle that failed to stop. The injured man was promptly transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Authorities stated that once the driver of the second vehicle is located, he will face charges for Collision Involving Death. Anyone with information related to the incident is encouraged to contact the San Antonio Police Department at (210) 207-7273.
