Joshua Wayne Brown, 20, of Sacramento, was identified as one of the victims killed over the weekend in a shooting linked to sideshow activities. The incident occurred early in the morning on September 22, near the 2400 block of Seamist Drive in South Natomas, according to police.
Authorities confirmed Brown’s identity through the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office on Tuesday. He was found by police at the scene, suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite efforts by first responders to save him, Brown was pronounced dead at the location.
Brown was one of two individuals fatally shot on Sunday morning in incidents tied to sideshow events, though police are treating the two shootings as unrelated.
