Fatal Boca Raton shooting death of Christopher Liszak and Chandler Dill – Obituary.
The Boca Raton Police Department has identified the two victims in a deadly shooting that occurred last Friday afternoon at a hotel on 365 Ocean Boulevard. Christopher Liszak, 49, and Chandler Dill, 32, both from Oakland Park, were reportedly shot and killed by De’Vante Moss.
According to Boca Raton Police Chief Michele Miuccio, video footage revealed that Moss left the hotel with a purse, which led to an altercation with a woman who chased him. This confrontation escalated when two men, including Liszak, became involved, resulting in Moss shooting all three. Dill and Liszak were shot at close range, and despite attempts by one male victim to escape, Moss shot him again after a brief pursuit. Liszak and Dill did not survive their injuries, while the third man was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Moss fled to Georgia, where he was apprehended by the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office. He now faces two counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted first-degree murder.
