Fatal Tremont car crash death of Jeffrey Flaugher II – Obituary.
A tragic single-vehicle accident in rural Tremont resulted in the death of a 41-year-old man from Bloomington on Saturday, as confirmed by the Tazewell County Coroner’s Office. Authorities were alerted to the crash at 3:47 a.m. on Saturday in the 21000 block of Townline Road.
Jeffrey Flaugher II was pronounced dead at the scene at 4:35 a.m. He was the only person in the vehicle, which veered off the roadway and crashed into a farm field. Preliminary autopsy findings indicate that his death was caused by multiple blunt force injuries sustained in the crash.
The incident is currently under investigation by both the Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office and the Tazewell County Coroner’s Office.
