Fatal Barron County motorcycle crash death of Jerry Rogers – Obituary.
In a tragic incident in western Wisconsin, 63-year-old Jerry Rogers from Barron was pronounced dead following a two-vehicle crash that occurred on Sunday afternoon. The Barron County 911 Center received a call at 3:01 p.m. reporting the collision at County Road West and 19th Street, just west of Cameron.
Emergency responders, including deputies from the Barron County Sheriff’s Department, arrived at the scene and treated a 74-year-old woman from Chetek who was driving the other vehicle. Unfortunately, Rogers succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are still under investigation by the sheriff’s department, with assistance from the Wisconsin State Patrol for reconstruction. As a result of the incident, County Road West and 19th Street were closed for four hours by the Barron County Highway Department.
