Anthony Dwight Davis dies in fatal Lynchburg shooting
Fatal Lynchburg shooting death of Anthony Dwight Davis – Obituary.
Anthony Dwight Davis, 36, was killed in a shooting on Water Gate Drive in Lynchburg early Tuesday morning. Lynchburg Police responded to the 100 Block of Water Gate Drive at 12:37 a.m. after receiving reports of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers found Davis with a gunshot wound. Despite efforts to save him, Davis was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Lynchburg Police Department is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact Detective Owen or Crime Stoppers.
