Fatal Binghamton shooting death of Tyrell Norris – Obituary.
Tyrell Norris, 41, of Binghamton, was killed Monday night after being struck by gunfire in his home at the Town & Country Housing Complex on Roberts Street. Binghamton Police responded to reports of a man with a gunshot wound at 100 Roberts St. around 10:18 p.m. Officers attempted life-saving measures before transporting Norris, but he was later pronounced dead. Investigators stated that Norris was an uninvolved party in the shooting.
While police were still at the scene, they learned of another gunshot victim, a 21-year-old man found at 104 Liberty St. with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his foot. The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is urged to contact the Binghamton Police Detective Bureau.
