Fatal Clermont County crash claims the life of Mathew Perry – Obituary
A tragic accident in Clermont County, Ohio, early Saturday morning resulted in the deaths of five individuals. The Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) reported that the incident occurred around 1:45 a.m. when 25-year-old Mathew Perry was driving a 2005 Chrysler 300 northeast on State Route 28. At that time, he collided with a 2007 Subaru Legacy, driven by 43-year-old Dustin McDole, which was attempting to cross State Route 28 from Edenton Pleasant Plain Road.
Both Perry and McDole were pronounced dead at the scene, alongside three passengers in Perry’s vehicle: 19-year-old Chloe Love, 18-year-old Dezmen Jernigan, and 42-year-old Andrea Iery. An 18-year-old male passenger in Perry’s vehicle was transported to UC Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. Witnesses noted that several individuals attempted to assist the victims prior to the arrival of emergency services, highlighting the severity of the situation. The OSHP continues to investigate the crash, with support from various local emergency departments.
