Fatal Duplin County car crash death of Donna Vickery – Obituary
Donna Vickery, a 66-year-old resident of Willard, lost her life in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 40 in Duplin County, North Carolina. The incident occurred on Saturday around 2:30 p.m. at the westbound exit ramp for Highway 41 near Wallace.
According to state troopers, Vickery’s truck veered off the road for unknown reasons, overturned, and collided with a tree. While Vickery was pronounced dead at the scene, a passenger sustained injuries and was airlifted to ECU Health Medical Center for treatment.
The investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
