Fatal Bankhead Highway crash death of Makhturmino – Obituary

Makhturmino, a 59-year-old man from Indonesia, was killed in a two-vehicle crash on November 1, 2024, in west Birmingham, Alabama. The crash occurred in the 1500 block of Bankhead Highway when Makhturmino’s vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with another vehicle. He was the driver and only occupant of his vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. Birmingham Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
