Lawrence Oren Gillespie Sr., 77, from Fort Wayne, died following a deadly three-vehicle crash in southeast Allen County on Wednesday evening, November 6, 2024. According to the Allen County Coroner’s Office, the crash occurred in the 1300 block of U.S. 27 South near Flatrock Road. Gillespie sustained multiple blunt force trauma injuries, and his death was ruled an accident. The crash is still under investigation by the Allen County Sheriff’s Department, the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office, and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
