Authorities are investigating a deadly collision that occurred Tuesday afternoon involving a motorcycle and a passenger car in Leesburg.
The accident took place around 1 p.m. at the intersection of Fort Evans Road and Forest Spring Drive.
The motorcycle operator, identified as 52-year-old Ijaumaa Malik McCutcheon of Sterling, was rushed to a medical facility but succumbed to his injuries. The car’s driver also received hospital treatment and has since been released.
