A single-vehicle accident in Aiken County, South Carolina, claimed the life of 22-year-old John Boulware early Saturday morning.
The crash occurred just before 2 a.m. when Boulware, driving a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado, was traveling east along Rushton Road near Moseley Road. According to the Aiken County Coroner’s Office, the truck veered off the right side of the roadway and collided with a tree.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene at approximately 2:13 a.m., and Boulware, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead shortly before 3 a.m.
Authorities, including the South Carolina Highway Patrol and the coroner’s office, continue to investigate the incident. A toxicology report is pending as part of the ongoing inquiry.
