Fatal Lafayette shooting death of Tameron Williams – Obituary
A 15-year-old boy lost his life in a shooting Saturday night in Lafayette. Authorities have identified the victim as Tameron Williams.
Officers from the Lafayette Police Department responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 7:21 p.m. in the 200 block of Arthur Street. Upon arrival, they discovered Williams suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
Despite officers’ efforts to provide medical assistance, Williams succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Investigators have not yet identified a suspect, and authorities are urging anyone with information to contact the Lafayette Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 337-232-TIPS (8477).
