Fatal West Dallas shooting death of Adan Sanchez – Obituary
Adan Sanchez, a 20-year-old man, was fatally shot in West Dallas early Thursday morning, police reported. The incident occurred in the 3300 block of Ingersoll Street around 3:45 a.m.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found Sanchez with a gunshot wound. Dallas Fire-Rescue personnel also responded, but Sanchez was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspected shooter fled before authorities got there but was later located less than a mile away on Bernal Drive. According to police, the suspect shot themselves when approached by officers. They were taken to the hospital and remained in critical condition as of Friday.
