Rashie Jones, 29, was one of the victims of a tragic shooting in Carroll Park, Philadelphia, that occurred early Sunday morning. The shooting took place during a block party on the 1200 block of North Alden Street, where over 100 people were present when gunfire erupted around 2 a.m.
Jones, along with his brother Akil Jones, 33, and Sakayi Robinson, 23, were killed in the incident. The violence also resulted in six injuries, with Tahir Shoatz, 28, facing charges of homicide and aggravated assault in connection with the shooting.
Police are searching for Amir Jones, 30, a suspect linked to the case who was also injured in the shooting. He was last seen wearing camouflage shorts and a white T-shirt. Authorities recovered three firearms, 36 shell casings, and five bullets from the scene, noting that the altercation began from an argument.
