Fatal Portland shooting death of Leno Batista-Guzman – Obituary

Authorities have confirmed the identity of the man who was fatally shot in Northeast Portland early Sunday morning. Leno Batista-Guzman, 22, was found dead inside a vehicle on SE 20th Avenue shortly after 2 a.m., following reports of gunfire in the area.

 

When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Batista-Guzman had sustained fatal injuries. Police reported that any potential suspects had fled before their arrival, and no arrests were made at the time.

 

The Portland Police Bureau is urging anyone with information regarding the shooting to come forward to assist with the investigation.
