Fatal Blount County crash death of Kali Heaton – Obituary
A tragic two-vehicle accident in Blount County resulted in the death of a woman on Friday night, as confirmed by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency. The incident occurred around 7:33 p.m. when 32-year-old Kali Heaton was driving a 2010 Mazda 3 and collided head-on with a 2023 Ford Ranger operated by 44-year-old Joshua Carr of Arab. Heaton was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, while Carr was taken to UAB Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
The crash took place on Alabama 79, approximately three miles southwest of Locust Fork. The Highway Patrol Division of ALEA is conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
