Fatal Long Beach shooting death of Kendell Williams – Obituary

Kendell Williams, 36, who had been experiencing homelessness, was fatally shot on October 22 in Long Beach. Officers arrived at the scene near 7:10 p.m. to find Williams suffering from gunshot wounds to his upper body. Paramedics declared him dead at the scene. Police later identified 55-year-old Al Gene Fisher from Hemet as the prime suspect in the shooting. Fisher was arrested in Long Beach on Friday and was found in possession of a firearm. He was booked on suspicion of murder and possession of a firearm by a felon, with bail set at $2 million.
