Brian Speaks dies in fatal Suitland shooting
Fatal Suitland shooting death of Brian Speaks – Obituary
Brian Speaks, 30, was tragically killed in what authorities believe to be a targeted attack in Suitland on the evening of November 15. Prince George’s County Police responded to reports of gunfire at an apartment building on the 3500 block of Parkway Terrace Drive around 5:45 p.m.
Officers found Speaks inside the building suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite attempts to provide medical assistance, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives are actively investigating the incident, working to establish a motive and identify any suspects. Police have stated that the shooting does not appear to have been random.
A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Prince George’s County Police Homicide Unit at (301) 516-2512.
