Harlen Ray Harris, 80, of Clanton, lost his life in a two-vehicle collision on I-65 North near University Boulevard on Monday morning. The crash occurred at approximately 9:21 a.m., and Harris was declared deceased at the scene around 11:30 a.m.
The Birmingham Police Department is currently conducting an investigation to determine the events leading up to the accident.
