Tyriq Gordon dies in fatal Duluth, Minnesota car crash

Fatal Duluth, Minnesota car crash death of Tyriq Gordon – Obituary

A 19-year-old man, identified as Tyriq Gordon of Duluth, tragically lost his life early Saturday morning after his car went off West Skyline Parkway. The crash occurred around 1:15 a.m. near Oneota Cemetery in the Cody neighborhood. According to Duluth Police, officers responded to reports of a vehicle that had gone off the road. Upon arriving at the scene, they found the car had traveled 30 feet off the roadway, overturned, and caught fire. Officers quickly used extinguishers to put out the flames.

Gordon, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators believe speed played a significant role in the crash, which occurred as Gordon was unable to navigate a curve in the road. The Minnesota State Patrol assisted the Duluth Police Department with the investigation.
