In the early hours of Monday, a rollover crash in San Francisco’s Ingleside neighborhood resulted in the tragic deaths of Tamya Watson, 42, of San Francisco, and Nebiet Barham, 35. The collision, which occurred around 1:20 a.m. at the intersection of Grafton and Jules avenues, left four others injured, some critically, according to the San Francisco Fire Department.
Jayden Elliott Patrick, 21, of Santa Rosa, has been arrested and faces numerous felony charges, including gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and DUI causing injury. Authorities report significant damage to the two vehicles involved in the crash.
The district attorney’s office has also charged Patrick with two counts of murder and several additional charges tied to reckless and impaired driving. District Attorney Brooke Jenkins expressed her condolences to the victims’ families and reaffirmed her office’s commitment to seeking justice.
The incident underscores the dangers of combining alcohol, excessive speed, and driving, which can lead to devastating outcomes.
