A tragic car crash on Thanksgiving morning claimed the lives of 57-year-old Daniel W. Wilson and his 24-year-old son, Drew C. Wilson, both from Pontiac. The accident occurred around 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of IL-170 and North 19th Road in Brookfield Township, Illinois.
Authorities reported that Daniel Wilson was driving northbound on IL-170 with his son when another vehicle collided with them at the intersection. Both men sustained critical injuries and were rushed to the hospital, but they passed away shortly after arrival.
No other individuals were injured in the crash, and the incident remains under investigation.
