Fatal Piedmont car crash deaths of Jack Nelson, Soren Dixon, and Krysta Tsukahara – Obituaries
A community vigil was held Friday night in Piedmont, California, where residents gathered to honor three young lives tragically lost in a Tesla Cybertruck crash the previous day. The victims, Jack Nelson, Soren Dixon, and Krysta Tsukahara, all 19 years old, were described as close friends and Piedmont High School alumni who had returned home from college to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday with their families.
The solemn gathering at Piedmont Park saw neighbors and friends illuminating flashlights in remembrance of the three college sophomores. In addition to the deceased, Jordan Miller, a University of Wisconsin sophomore, survived the crash but suffered severe burns and remains hospitalized.
The incident took place early Wednesday morning on Hampton Road, where authorities reported the Tesla Cybertruck veered off course, struck a tree, and ignited in flames. Investigators believe excessive speed contributed to the crash, though they are also examining whether alcohol or drugs played a role.
