Fatal Pahrump wrong-way crash death of Adam Joseph Lousig-Nont – Obituary
Adam Joseph Lousig-Nont, a 42-year-old resident of Las Vegas, tragically passed away following a wrong-way collision on State Route 160 near mile marker 25, approximately 15 miles south of Pahrump.
The accident occurred on Saturday, November 23, at 10:09 p.m., when Lousig-Nont drove his Lexus northbound in the southbound lanes of the highway. His vehicle crossed a dirt median, entered the outer shoulder, and eventually collided with a metal guardrail. The car came to a stop in the far-right travel lane beyond the paved shoulder.
Emergency personnel transported Lousig-Nont to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The Nevada State Police Highway Patrol’s Traffic Homicide Unit is conducting an investigation into the incident. So far in 2024, the Southern Command of the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol has handled 69 fatal crashes, resulting in 77 deaths. These numbers remain preliminary, pending final investigation and coroner reports.
