Authorities in Norfolk have identified Zachary T. Schonborn, a 23-year-old from Newport News, as the motorcyclist killed in a hit-and-run crash early Sunday morning on East Little Creek Road. Schonborn was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident occurred around 1:45 a.m. near the intersection of E. Little Creek Road, Chesapeake Boulevard, and Military Highway. Police reported that the driver of the vehicle involved fled the scene after colliding with the motorcycle.
