Fatal Champaign County single-vehicle crash death of Joseph L. Trowbridge – Obituary
Joseph L. Trowbridge, 67, of Urbana, has been identified as the victim of a fatal crash that occurred Saturday in Salem Township. The Champaign County Sheriff’s Office reported that Trowbridge’s 2008 Honda Pilot went off the road on Upper Valley Pike, then crossed the centerline before veering off the east side and striking a ditch. Emergency responders transported him to Mercy Health – Urbana, where he was later pronounced dead. The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
