The crash occurred around 2 p.m. when a driver struck Jones while he was riding his bicycle. The driver fled the scene, but was later apprehended after crashing into a car and a home. The driver, identified as Mark Henderson, was arrested and faces multiple charges, including homicide by vehicle and DUI.
Hanna expressed her heartbreak, remembering her brother as a bubbly, energetic person who loved music. She said, “He had a lot of music that was like bubbly and bumping and makes you want to get up and dance… and then he had some music that was just like his pain.” She added that Jones had been trying to stay away from trouble and had hoped to make a positive impact with his music.
