Fatal Denham Springs car accident death of Thomas Sapp – Obituary
Thomas Sapp, a 53-year-old resident of Bogalusa, was tragically struck and killed by a car outside the Yellow Brick House restaurant in Denham Springs.
Shortly before the accident, Sapp entered the restaurant seeking assistance. The owners, Chad Matrana and his wife Kimberly James, provided him with a hot meal. The couple noted it was their first time meeting Sapp, and their manager had spent a few moments conversing with him before his plate was prepared.
“All we knew at that point was that his name was Thomas,” Matrana shared, reflecting on their brief interaction.
In a gesture of compassion, the restaurant owners announced they would cover Sapp’s funeral expenses.
