Fatal Colorado Springs motorcycle crash death of Elvin Jose Irizarry Iglesias – Obituary

Elvin Jose Irizarry Iglesias, 28, lost his life in a traffic accident on May 16 in southeast Colorado Springs. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. at the intersection of Hancock and Circle, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department.

Authorities reported that Iglesias was riding his motorcycle north on Hancock when he attempted to navigate a right-hand bend. During the turn, his motorcycle veered across the double yellow lines into the path of a southbound car. The collision caused Iglesias to be thrown from the motorcycle, resulting in fatal injuries at the scene.

The motorist in the other vehicle was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

This crash marked the 14th traffic-related fatality in Colorado Springs for the year, police noted.
